The September 11th Fund
United Way and The New
York Community Trust have established The
September 11th Fund. Contributions will be used to help
respond to the immediate and longer-term needs of the victims,
their families, and communities affected by the events of
September 11. Please note that 100% of all contributions will be
used to support these efforts, as United Way and The Community
Trust are underwriting all administrative costs. Donations can be

The World Trade
Center Relief Fund
The newly established New
York State World Trade Center Fund supports the emergency
response and victim support efforts in New York. Donations can be
made online, by phone (at 1-800-801-8092), or by mail.
Mercy Corps
Mercy
Corps supports organizations that provide counseling for
survivors, emergency personnel, and families of the victims. They
also support organizations that provide scholarship funds for
children who lost parents in the attacks. Mercy Corps ensures that
your funds reach outstanding local organizations that are making a

American Red
Cross
The American Red Cross
provides disaster assistance to people in need at no charge. Donations
can be made online, by phone at 1-800-HELP NOW, or by mail.
You can also help
the Red Cross by donating blood. In addition, if you are from
the impacted disaster areas, you can register at the Family
Registration Web to help the Red Cross provide information to
family members and loved ones who are concerned about you.
American Liberty
Partnership
The American
Liberty Partnership is an Internet industry initiative that is
helping to connect people who want to help with the organizations
that need it most. You can find out how to contribute to a wide
variety of organizations -- all of which continue to need
financial support.
Salvation Army
Disaster Relief Efforts
The Salvation
Army ministers to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
of families, individuals, and emergency personnel involved in the
disasters. Aid is given to those affected both directly and
indirectly by this tragedy. Donations can be made online or by

Firefighter 9-11
Disaster Relief Fund

York Firefighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund to assist the
families of the firefighters who fell during their valiant
attempts to assist community members during the World Trade Center
